Dew
In space and astronautical engineering, dew refers to the formation of water droplets on the surface of a spacecraft or any other object in space due to the condensation of water vapor. This can occur when the temperature of the object falls below the dew point of the surrounding atmosphere. Dew can be a significant problem for spacecraft as it can cause damage to sensitive equipment and electronics. It can also interfere with the performance of solar panels and other energy systems. To prevent dew formation, spacecraft are often equipped with thermal control systems that regulate the temperature of the spacecraft and prevent it from falling below the dew point. These systems may use heaters, radiators, or other methods to maintain a stable temperature.
