Condensation
In space and astronautical engineering, condensation refers to the process of converting a gas or vapor to a liquid state. This process is important in spacecraft thermal control systems, where excess heat generated by equipment and electronics must be dissipated to maintain safe operating temperatures. Condensation is often used in conjunction with other thermal control techniques, such as radiation and conduction, to maintain a stable thermal environment within the spacecraft. The process of condensation can also be used to extract water from the atmosphere of other planets or moons, which could be used for human consumption or as a propellant for spacecraft.
