Projections
In space and astronautical engineering, projections refer to the mathematical models and simulations used to predict the trajectory and behavior of spacecraft and other objects in space. Projections take into account various factors such as gravitational forces, atmospheric drag, and the effects of other celestial bodies. They are used to plan and execute space missions, including launches, orbital maneuvers, and landings. Projections are also used to study the behavior of space debris and to develop strategies for mitigating the risks associated with collisions. In addition, projections are used to model the behavior of natural phenomena such as solar flares and geomagnetic storms, which can affect spacecraft and other technology in space.
