Conductive Shield


A conductive shield is a protective barrier made of conductive materials that is used to shield electronic equipment from electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) in space and astronautical engineering context. Conductive shields are designed to absorb and redirect electromagnetic waves away from sensitive electronic components, preventing them from being damaged or disrupted. Conductive shields are commonly used in spacecraft, satellites, and other space-based systems to protect against the harsh electromagnetic environment of space. They are also used in ground-based systems to protect against EMI and RFI from external sources such as power lines, radio transmitters, and other electronic equipment.
