Thermal Control System
Thermal Control System (TCS) is a subsystem of a spacecraft that manages the temperature of the spacecraft and its components. The TCS is responsible for maintaining the temperature within acceptable limits for the proper functioning of the spacecraft and its instruments. The TCS uses various techniques such as radiators, heat pipes, and thermal blankets to regulate the temperature. The TCS also manages the heat generated by the spacecraft's electronics and other equipment. The TCS is critical for the success of a mission as extreme temperatures can cause damage to the spacecraft and its instruments.
