Voltammetry
Voltammetry is a type of electrochemical analysis that measures the current that flows through an electrode as a function of the applied voltage. In space and astronautical engineering, voltammetry is used to study the electrochemical behavior of materials in space environments, such as the corrosion of spacecraft materials in the harsh conditions of space. Voltammetry can also be used to study the electrochemical properties of materials used in batteries and fuel cells for space applications. By analyzing the current-voltage relationship, voltammetry can provide information about the kinetics and thermodynamics of electrochemical reactions, as well as the properties of the electrode surface.
