Plasma Cutters
Plasma cutters are tools used in space and astronautical engineering to cut through metal and other materials using a high-velocity jet of ionized gas, or plasma. The plasma is created by passing an electric current through a gas, such as nitrogen, oxygen, or argon, which causes the gas to become ionized and form a plasma arc. This arc is then directed at the material to be cut, melting and vaporizing it as it passes through. Plasma cutters are commonly used in the construction of spacecraft and other space vehicles, as well as in the repair and maintenance of space stations and other space-based infrastructure.
