Spacewalks
Spacewalks, also known as Extravehicular Activities (EVAs), are activities performed by astronauts outside of their spacecraft while in space. These activities may include repairing or maintaining spacecraft, conducting scientific experiments, or installing new equipment. Spacewalks are typically performed while wearing a spacesuit, which provides oxygen, temperature regulation, and protection from the vacuum of space. Spacewalks can be dangerous due to the extreme conditions of space, including radiation exposure and the risk of debris impact. Therefore, astronauts must undergo extensive training and follow strict safety protocols before and during a spacewalk.
