Spacewalk

Spacewalk, also known as Extravehicular Activity (EVA), is an activity performed by an astronaut outside of a spacecraft in the vacuum of space. Spacewalks are conducted for various purposes such as maintenance, repair, and assembly of spacecraft, scientific experiments, and testing of new equipment. During a spacewalk, the astronaut wears a spacesuit that provides oxygen, temperature regulation, and protection from radiation and micrometeoroids. The spacesuit is connected to the spacecraft by a tether that provides communication and safety. Spacewalks are complex and risky operations that require extensive training and preparation. Astronauts must be physically fit, mentally prepared, and able to work in a harsh and challenging environment. Spacewalks have played a crucial role in the history of space exploration and have contributed to our understanding of the universe and our ability to explore it further.
