Neurotechnologies
Neurotechnologies refer to the interdisciplinary field that combines neuroscience, engineering, and computer science to develop tools and techniques for studying and manipulating the nervous system. This includes the development of brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) that allow direct communication between the brain and external devices, as well as the use of neuroimaging techniques such as functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and electroencephalography (EEG) to study brain function. Neurotechnologies also encompass the development of new therapies for neurological and psychiatric disorders, such as deep brain stimulation (DBS) and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).
