Field

In space and astronautical engineering, a field refers to a region of space where a physical quantity, such as electric or magnetic force, has a value at every point in that region. Fields are used to describe the behavior of objects in space and the interactions between them. For example, the Earth's magnetic field is responsible for deflecting charged particles from the solar wind, protecting the planet from harmful radiation. Fields can be static or dynamic, and can be described using mathematical equations such as Maxwell's equations. Understanding fields is crucial for designing spacecraft and predicting their behavior in space.
