Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a non-invasive medical imaging technique that uses a strong magnetic field and radio waves to generate detailed images of the body's internal structures. In MRI, the patient is placed inside a large magnet and radio waves are used to excite the hydrogen atoms in the body's tissues. The resulting signals are detected by the MRI machine and used to create detailed images of the body's internal structures. MRI is particularly useful for imaging soft tissues such as the brain, spinal cord, and joints, and is often used to diagnose a wide range of medical conditions, including cancer, neurological disorders, and musculoskeletal injuries.
