Thermal Control Coatings

Thermal Control Coatings are materials applied to spacecraft surfaces to regulate the temperature of the spacecraft and its components. These coatings are designed to reflect or absorb solar radiation and thermal emissions from the spacecraft, and to dissipate excess heat generated by onboard equipment. Thermal Control Coatings are essential for maintaining the thermal stability of the spacecraft and preventing damage to sensitive components. They can also improve the efficiency of thermal control systems and reduce the overall mass of the spacecraft. Thermal Control Coatings can be applied using a variety of techniques, including spraying, painting, and vapor deposition.
