Surface Wave Research
Surface Wave Research is a branch of space and astronautical engineering that focuses on the study of electromagnetic waves that propagate along the boundary between two media, such as the Earth's surface and the ionosphere. These waves, known as surface waves, can be used for a variety of applications, including communication, navigation, and remote sensing. Surface Wave Research involves the design and development of antennas, transmitters, and receivers that can operate in the surface wave mode, as well as the analysis of the propagation characteristics of surface waves in different environments. This field also includes the study of the effects of the Earth's magnetic field, ionosphere, and other atmospheric conditions on surface wave propagation.
