Structural Tests
Structural tests are a series of tests performed on spacecraft structures to ensure their ability to withstand the harsh conditions of launch and space environment. These tests include vibration tests, acoustic tests, thermal vacuum tests, and shock tests. Vibration tests simulate the vibrations that a spacecraft experiences during launch and measure the structural response to these vibrations. Acoustic tests simulate the noise levels that a spacecraft experiences during launch and measure the structural response to these noise levels. Thermal vacuum tests simulate the extreme temperatures and vacuum conditions of space and measure the structural response to these conditions. Shock tests simulate the mechanical shocks that a spacecraft experiences during launch and measure the structural response to these shocks.
