Spacewalking

Spacewalking, also known as Extravehicular Activity (EVA), is the act of venturing outside a spacecraft while in orbit around the Earth or traveling in space. Spacewalking is performed by astronauts to perform maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on spacecraft, as well as to conduct scientific experiments and test new equipment. During a spacewalk, astronauts wear a spacesuit that provides them with oxygen, temperature regulation, and protection from the harsh environment of space. Spacewalking is a complex and dangerous activity that requires extensive training and preparation, as well as careful planning and execution. Astronauts must be able to work effectively in a weightless environment, manage their equipment and tools, and communicate with their fellow crew members and mission control on Earth.
