Microgravity
Microgravity is the condition in which objects or people appear to be weightless and experience little or no gravitational force. This occurs when an object is in a state of freefall, such as when orbiting the Earth or traveling through space. In microgravity, fluids and gases behave differently than they do on Earth, and the human body undergoes physiological changes. Studying microgravity is important for understanding the effects of space travel on the human body and for developing technologies that can function in space. Microgravity research has led to advancements in fields such as materials science, fluid dynamics, and biotechnology.
