Spacecraft Systems
Spacecraft Systems refer to the various subsystems and components that are integrated together to form a functional spacecraft. These systems include but are not limited to: power, propulsion, thermal control, communication, attitude control, guidance and navigation, and payload. The power system provides electrical power to the spacecraft, while the propulsion system provides the necessary thrust to move the spacecraft through space. The thermal control system regulates the temperature of the spacecraft and its components. The communication system allows the spacecraft to transmit and receive data and commands to and from Earth. The attitude control system maintains the spacecraft's orientation and stability in space. The guidance and navigation system determines the spacecraft's position and velocity, and the payload system carries the scientific instruments or other equipment that the spacecraft is designed to operate. All of these systems must work together seamlessly to ensure the success of a space mission.
