Semiconductor Device
A semiconductor device is an electronic component made of semiconductor material, such as silicon, germanium, or gallium arsenide, that can conduct electricity under certain conditions and act as a switch or amplifier. In space and astronautical engineering, semiconductor devices are used in a wide range of applications, including solar cells, transistors, diodes, and integrated circuits.
