Rosetta Mission

Rosetta Mission was a space mission launched by the European Space Agency in 2004 to study the comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko. The mission's primary objective was to understand the origin and evolution of the Solar System by studying the comet's composition, structure, and history. Rosetta was the first spacecraft to orbit a comet and deploy a lander, Philae, to its surface. The mission also provided valuable data on the formation of planets and the role of comets in the evolution of the Solar System.
