Printed Circuit

A printed circuit is a board made of insulating material, such as fiberglass or plastic, with conductive pathways etched onto its surface. These pathways, also known as traces, are usually made of copper and are used to connect electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, and integrated circuits. Printed circuits are widely used in the aerospace industry due to their reliability, compactness, and ability to withstand harsh environments. They are used in spacecraft for a variety of applications, including power distribution, communication, and control systems. Printed circuits can be single-sided, double-sided, or multi-layered, depending on the complexity of the circuit. The manufacturing process for printed circuits involves several steps, including designing the circuit layout, printing the circuit onto the board, and etching away the unwanted copper. The resulting board is then drilled and plated to create the necessary connections.
