Pressurization
Pressurization is the process of increasing the air pressure inside a spacecraft or a spacesuit to a level that is suitable for human habitation. In space, there is no atmospheric pressure, and without pressurization, humans would not be able to survive. Pressurization is achieved by regulating the flow of air into the spacecraft or spacesuit and maintaining a balance between the internal and external pressure. The air supply is usually provided by an oxygen generator or a storage tank. Pressurization is also important for maintaining the structural integrity of the spacecraft or spacesuit, as it helps to prevent collapse or deformation due to the vacuum of space. In addition, pressurization is necessary for the operation of certain equipment, such as thrusters and life support systems.
