Oxygen Generator

An oxygen generator is a device that produces oxygen for breathing in spacecraft or other enclosed environments where the oxygen content of the air is insufficient. Oxygen generators work by separating oxygen from other gases in the air, typically using a chemical reaction or pressure swing adsorption. In spacecraft, oxygen generators are critical for providing breathable air to the crew and for supporting combustion in the engines. They are often used in conjunction with carbon dioxide scrubbers to maintain a safe and habitable environment. Oxygen generators can also be used in emergency situations on Earth, such as in hospitals or mines where the air supply has been compromised.
