Pressure Suits
Pressure suits are specially designed suits that provide life support to astronauts in the vacuum of space or in high-altitude conditions. They are designed to maintain a stable internal pressure, protect the wearer from extreme temperatures, and provide breathable air. Pressure suits are typically made of multiple layers of materials, including an inner layer that is in contact with the wearer's skin, a middle layer that provides insulation, and an outer layer that protects against micrometeoroids and other hazards. The suit also includes a helmet with a visor that provides protection against radiation and other hazards. Pressure suits are essential for spacewalks and other activities outside of a spacecraft or space station, as they provide the necessary protection and life support for the astronaut to survive in the harsh environment of space.
