Orbital Maneuvers

Orbital maneuvers refer to the various actions taken by spacecraft to change their orbit around a celestial body. These maneuvers are critical for space missions as they allow spacecraft to reach their intended destination, maintain their orbit, and avoid collisions with other objects in space. Orbital maneuvers can be achieved through the use of thrusters, which provide the necessary force to change the spacecraft's velocity and direction. There are several types of orbital maneuvers, including transfer orbits, which move a spacecraft from one orbit to another, and station-keeping maneuvers, which maintain a spacecraft's position in a particular orbit. Other maneuvers include rendezvous and docking maneuvers, which are used to bring two spacecraft together in orbit, and de-orbit maneuvers, which are used to bring a spacecraft back to Earth's surface. Successful orbital maneuvers require precise calculations and careful planning to ensure that the spacecraft reaches its intended destination safely and efficiently.
