Rendezvous
In space and astronautical engineering, rendezvous refers to the process of bringing two spacecraft together in orbit. This can be done for a variety of reasons, such as transferring crew or supplies between the spacecraft, or joining together to form a larger structure. Rendezvous can be achieved through a variety of methods, including manual piloting by astronauts, or automated systems that use sensors and computer algorithms to guide the spacecraft to a precise location. Rendezvous is a critical component of many space missions, including the assembly of the International Space Station and the Apollo lunar missions.
