Modulators

Modulators are devices used in space and astronautical engineering to modify or manipulate a signal for transmission. They are used to convert a low-frequency baseband signal into a higher frequency signal that can be transmitted over a long distance. Modulators are also used to add information to a carrier signal, such as in amplitude modulation (AM) or frequency modulation (FM). In space applications, modulators are used in communication systems to transmit data between spacecraft and ground stations, as well as between different spacecraft. They are also used in radar systems to transmit and receive signals for remote sensing and imaging. Modulators can be implemented using various technologies, including analog and digital circuits, and can operate at different frequencies depending on the application.
