Carrier

In space and astronautical engineering, a carrier is a spacecraft or rocket that is designed to transport payloads, such as satellites, into space. Carriers can be either manned or unmanned and can be used for a variety of missions, including scientific research, communication, and military applications. They are typically launched from a launch pad or a mobile platform and can be powered by various types of engines, such as liquid or solid rocket engines. Carriers can also be designed to be reusable, such as the Space Shuttle, or expendable, such as the Delta IV rocket. The design of a carrier is critical to the success of a mission, as it must be able to withstand the extreme conditions of launch and spaceflight while also providing a stable and controlled environment for the payload.
