Mission Operations Plan

A Mission Operations Plan (MOP) is a comprehensive document that outlines the procedures and protocols for conducting a space mission. It includes details on the mission objectives, spacecraft design and capabilities, launch and deployment procedures, communication protocols, ground support equipment, and contingency plans. The MOP is developed by the mission operations team and serves as a guide for all mission operations activities, including spacecraft commanding, data acquisition and processing, and anomaly resolution. The MOP is continuously updated throughout the mission to reflect changes in the spacecraft status and mission objectives.
