Inductors
In space and astronautical engineering, an inductor is a passive electronic component that stores energy in a magnetic field when electric current flows through it. Inductors are commonly used in electrical circuits for energy storage, filtering, and signal processing. In space applications, inductors are used in power electronics, communication systems, and control systems. They are also used in electric propulsion systems, such as ion thrusters and Hall effect thrusters, to generate magnetic fields that accelerate charged particles.
