Frequency Response
Frequency response is the quantitative measure of the output spectrum of a system or device in response to a stimulus, and is used to characterize the dynamics of the system. It is a measure of magnitude and phase of the output as a function of frequency, in comparison to the input. In the context of space and astronautical engineering, frequency response is an important concept in the design and analysis of communication systems, control systems, and instrumentation systems for spacecraft and satellites. The frequency response of a system can be used to determine the stability, performance, and reliability of the system in the presence of external disturbances and noise sources. It is also used to optimize the design of filters, amplifiers, and other signal processing components for space applications.
