Elementary Particle

In space and astronautical engineering, an elementary particle is a subatomic particle that has no substructure and is not composed of smaller particles. These particles are the building blocks of matter and interact through fundamental forces, such as gravity, electromagnetism, and the strong and weak nuclear forces. Elementary particles include quarks, leptons, and gauge bosons. Quarks are the building blocks of protons and neutrons, while leptons include electrons and neutrinos. Gauge bosons mediate the fundamental forces, such as photons for electromagnetism and W and Z bosons for the weak nuclear force. The study of elementary particles is important for understanding the fundamental nature of matter and the universe.
