Turbojet Engine

A turbojet engine is a type of air-breathing jet engine that operates by compressing air with an inlet and a compressor (usually driven by a turbine), mixing fuel with the compressed air in a combustion chamber, and then exhausting the combustion gases through a nozzle. The high-velocity exhaust gases provide the propulsive thrust that powers the aircraft. Turbojet engines are most commonly used in high-speed aircraft such as military fighters and some business jets. They are known for their high thrust-to-weight ratio and their ability to operate at high altitudes and high speeds.
