Three-dimensional Coordinate System

A three-dimensional coordinate system is a mathematical tool used to locate points in a three-dimensional space. It consists of three perpendicular axes, usually labeled as x, y, and z, which intersect at a common point called the origin. The x-axis represents the horizontal plane, the y-axis represents the vertical plane, and the z-axis represents the depth. Each point in the space can be uniquely identified by its coordinates, which are the distances from the origin along each axis. The three-dimensional coordinate system is widely used in space and astronautical engineering to describe the position and orientation of spacecraft, satellites, and other objects in space.
