International Space Law

International Space Law is a set of legal principles, rules, and regulations that govern the exploration and use of outer space. It encompasses various aspects of space activities, including the use of satellites for communication and navigation, the exploration and exploitation of natural resources in space, and the conduct of human spaceflight missions. International Space Law is based on a number of international treaties and agreements, including the Outer Space Treaty of 1967, the Rescue Agreement of 1968, and the Liability Convention of 1972. These agreements establish the legal framework for space activities and provide guidelines for the peaceful use of outer space. International Space Law also addresses issues such as space debris, space traffic management, and the protection of the space environment.
