Thermal Blanket

A thermal blanket is a type of insulation used to regulate the temperature of spacecraft and satellites. It is made up of multiple layers of thin, reflective material that help to reflect and radiate heat away from the spacecraft, preventing it from overheating. At the same time, the blanket helps to retain heat generated by the spacecraft's internal systems, keeping it warm in the cold vacuum of space. Thermal blankets are an essential component of spacecraft design, as they help to protect sensitive equipment from extreme temperature fluctuations that can cause damage or malfunction. They are also used on spacewalks to protect astronauts from the extreme temperatures of space.
