Reflective Material
Reflective material is a type of material that reflects light back to its source. In the context of space and astronautical engineering, reflective materials are used to control the temperature of spacecraft and satellites. These materials are designed to reflect solar radiation and prevent the spacecraft from overheating. Reflective materials are also used in the construction of space suits to protect astronauts from the extreme temperatures of space. In addition, reflective materials are used in the design of telescopes and other optical instruments to enhance their performance by reflecting light back to the detector. Reflective materials can be made from a variety of materials, including metals, polymers, and ceramics.
