Spacelab
Spacelab was a reusable laboratory developed by the European Space Agency (ESA) in collaboration with NASA that was carried into orbit by the Space Shuttle. It was designed to support scientific experiments in microgravity and provide facilities for scientific research in space. Spacelab consisted of pressurized modules that could be configured to meet the needs of specific missions, and it was equipped with a wide range of instruments and equipment for conducting experiments in fields such as astronomy, physics, and life sciences. Spacelab missions were conducted between 1983 and 1998, and they contributed significantly to our understanding of the effects of microgravity on living organisms and physical processes.
