Modules

In space and astronautical engineering, modules refer to self-contained units that can be combined to form a larger system or spacecraft. These modules can be designed to perform specific functions such as propulsion, power generation, life support, or scientific research. They can also be used to transport crew and cargo to and from a spacecraft. Modules can be attached together in various configurations to create a larger spacecraft, such as the International Space Station. The use of modular design allows for flexibility in spacecraft design and enables easier maintenance and repair. Additionally, modular systems can be tested and assembled on the ground before being launched into space, reducing the risk of failure during a mission.
