Spacecraft Challenges
Spacecraft challenges refer to the various technical, operational, and environmental obstacles that must be overcome in order to design, build, launch, and operate a spacecraft. These challenges include but are not limited to: ensuring the safety and reliability of the spacecraft and its components, developing propulsion systems that can operate in the vacuum of space, designing and testing communication systems that can transmit data over vast distances, developing life support systems that can sustain human crews for extended periods of time, and mitigating the effects of radiation and microgravity on both the spacecraft and its occupants. Additionally, spacecraft challenges also encompass the logistical and financial hurdles associated with launching and maintaining a spacecraft, including securing funding, coordinating with launch providers, and managing the complex network of ground-based support systems necessary for successful mission operations.
