Sounder

Sounder is a device used in space and astronautical engineering to measure the distance between the device and a target object by emitting a sound wave and measuring the time it takes for the wave to bounce back. This technology is commonly used in spacecraft navigation, docking, and landing. Sounder can also be used to study the surface of planets and moons by analyzing the echoes of the sound waves. The device can be designed to operate at different frequencies depending on the application and the environment. Sounder is an important tool for space exploration and has been used in various missions, including the Apollo program and the Mars Exploration Rover mission.
