Solar Power Arrays

Solar power arrays are systems of solar panels that convert sunlight into electrical energy. These arrays are commonly used in spacecraft to provide power for the various systems and instruments on board. The solar panels are made up of photovoltaic cells that absorb the energy from the sun and convert it into direct current (DC) electricity. This electricity is then regulated and stored in batteries or used to power the spacecraft's systems directly. The size and number of solar panels required for a spacecraft depends on the amount of power needed and the distance from the sun. Solar power arrays have become increasingly important in space exploration as they provide a reliable and renewable source of energy that can be used for extended periods of time.
