Mean Anomaly
In space and astronautical engineering, Mean Anomaly is a measure of the position of a celestial object in its orbit around another object. It is defined as the angle between the object, the focus of the ellipse, and the pericenter of the ellipse, which is the point in the orbit of the object closest to the focus. Mean Anomaly is used to calculate the position of a celestial object at a specific time, and is an important parameter in the design of spacecraft trajectories and in the prediction of the future positions of planets and other celestial bodies.
