Resistors
In space and astronautical engineering, resistors are passive electronic components that are used to limit the flow of electric current in a circuit. They are commonly used in spacecraft and satellites to control the amount of current flowing through various components and to protect them from damage due to overcurrent. Resistors are also used in communication systems to match the impedance of different components and to reduce noise and interference. In space applications, resistors must be able to withstand extreme temperatures, radiation, and vacuum conditions. They are often made of materials such as tantalum, carbon, or metal film, which have high stability and reliability in harsh environments.
