Redundancy Systems


Redundancy systems refer to the use of backup components or subsystems in a spacecraft or satellite to ensure that critical functions can continue to operate in the event of a failure. These systems are designed to increase the reliability and safety of the spacecraft or satellite by providing multiple layers of protection against potential malfunctions or failures. Redundancy systems can include redundant power supplies, communication systems, propulsion systems, and other critical components. In addition to hardware redundancy, redundancy systems can also include software redundancy, where multiple copies of critical software are run simultaneously to ensure that the spacecraft or satellite can continue to operate even if one copy of the software fails.
