Planetary Body
In space and astronautical engineering, a planetary body refers to any celestial object that orbits a star, is not a star itself, and is large enough to have become rounded by its own gravity. This includes planets, dwarf planets, moons, asteroids, and comets. Planetary bodies are of great interest to space engineers and scientists as they provide valuable information about the formation and evolution of our solar system, as well as the potential for habitable environments beyond Earth. Studying the physical and chemical properties of planetary bodies can also aid in the development of technologies and strategies for space exploration and colonization.
