Main Sequence Stage
Main Sequence Stage is the longest stage in the life cycle of a star, during which it fuses hydrogen into helium in its core. This process releases energy, which counteracts the gravitational force pulling the star inward. The star remains stable and maintains a constant size and luminosity during this stage. The duration of the Main Sequence Stage depends on the mass of the star, with more massive stars having shorter Main Sequence lifetimes. Once the hydrogen in the core is depleted, the star enters a new stage of its life cycle.
