Kinetic Weapons
Kinetic weapons are a type of space weapon that use the energy of motion to cause damage to a target. These weapons do not rely on explosives or chemical reactions, but instead use the kinetic energy of a projectile to destroy a target. Kinetic weapons can be launched from Earth or from space, and can be used to destroy satellites, intercept incoming missiles, or attack ground targets. The most common type of kinetic weapon is a kinetic energy projectile (KEP), which is a solid object that is accelerated to high speeds and then directed at a target. Other types of kinetic weapons include railguns, which use electromagnetic forces to accelerate projectiles, and hypervelocity missiles, which use rocket engines to achieve high speeds.
