JAXA


JAXA stands for Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, which is the national space agency of Japan. JAXA is responsible for the development, launch, and operation of satellites and other space vehicles, as well as conducting research in space science, aeronautics, and aviation technology. JAXA has been involved in a number of important space missions, including the launch of the first Japanese astronaut into space, the deployment of the Venus Climate Orbiter, and the development of the H-II Transfer Vehicle for the International Space Station. JAXA also collaborates with other space agencies around the world, including NASA and the European Space Agency, on various space projects.
