Venus

Venus is the second planet from the Sun and is the hottest planet in our solar system. It is a rocky planet with a thick atmosphere composed mainly of carbon dioxide. The atmospheric pressure on Venus is 92 times greater than Earth's, which is equivalent to the pressure at a depth of 1 kilometer in Earth's oceans. The surface of Venus is covered in volcanic features, including shield volcanoes, lava flows, and impact craters. Due to its proximity to Earth and its similarity in size and composition, Venus has been the subject of many space missions, including flybys, orbiters, and landers.
